Bakelite Bits is a collection of one of a kind bakelite jewelry converted into modern, works of wearable art. Even when Bakelite was worn as a fashion accessory in the 30s and 40s, it was considered as small works of art to be worn by women of all ranks and classes. And now, the revival of wearable plastic art has arrived-much to my delight.
As an avid collector of antique and vintage plastics, I truly appreciate the modern twist this artist has given these vintage beauties.
