Lovely Monday-Pretty In Pinks
I know it’s been a while since I last posted. After getting ready and selling at A Current Affair (post coming soon), I decided to take a week off and focus on friends, family and decorating for the holidays. I was hoping I would find another pink flocked Christmas tree, but my impatience got the better of me. I ordered a fake pink tree one from Sears.com. I miss the pine scent, but it is just as cute!
And speaking of pink. Check out these lovely young Londoners in shades of pink. I love that they punctuated potentially safe winter weather outfits with punches of pink. And no candy ass pink either. Bold doses of hot pink! Very Debutante Clothing ala Schiaparelli. My kind of girls.
My Christmas tree and these lovely ladies have definitely brightened my Monday.

Lovely Monday – Gorgeous in Holiday Green
As lovely as my Thanksgiving was, spending time with family and enjoying yummy food, I am sort of glad 2011 is coming to an end. It’s been a roller coaster of a year. Sometimes exciting, sometimes downright scary. I am currently busy getting my house all dressed up for the holidays, including searching for the perfect pink Christmas tree. I would prefer a real flocked one, but I struck out last year.
And speaking of dressed up…I came across this gorgeous 1950s dress on Etsy. The gold and light green make it a perfect holiday dress without being so cliche in terms of color. What I love about this dress is that it is not so holiday that you couldn’t wear it any other time of the year. And it feels like it can easily transition from holiday to spring. I can see wearing this with some killer patent leather booties or some pumps with some serious hardware – gold studs maybe?
What are you searching for this holiday season?

Vintage Inspired Fashion Week Looks
As Fashion Week starts to wind down (I know we have an entire month of fashion events here in LA) what really excited me were the looks seen off the runway. I can’t think of a better opportunity to dress up and over the top than a fashion show. I especially loved how much vintage style was caught on camera at the Milan and Paris shows. Here are a few of my favorite looks from Vogue Italia’s website.
I think I have a natural affinity for French and Italian style. No offense to my NY, London and LA friends and fellow bloggers. Something about the aloofness and femininity of French style and the in your face sexiness of Italian style really speaks to my often contradicting taste. All these women look perfectly put together, even the ones bordering on costume. I’m really digging bustles right now too.
Who do you think has the best Fashion Week style? LA, NY, London, Milan, Paris? Leave a comment!

Vintage Spotted at BlogHer 2011 San Diego
This was my first BlogHer ever. I knew there would be fewer fashion bloggers, so when I spotted some vintage loving fashionistas, I practically sprinted towards them. I don’t think I have ever been so forward. It’s a good thing everyone who attends BlogHer is super nice and was totally willing to pose.
It was so great to see so many bloggers who love vintage as much as I do and were wearing it with pride. I actually felt bad for going more casual with touches of vintage. These bloggers brought their finest vintage and they really stood out as women not afraid of having fun with fashion.
I’ve included their respective websites/blogs int he captions so you can go check them out too! I’m so happy I met so many new fashion friends that will gab away with me about vintage.
Thanks for posing ladies! Vintage forever xoxo.

Velvety Beautiful Roberta di Camerino
Flipping through Tommy Tom’s images of impossibly stylish people at the men’s collections in Europe, I was so happy to see this stunning little clutch which, without seeing the iconic R, knew it had to be a Roberta di Camerino. In typical blue, green, and red, and cut velvet, this little clutch looks like a piece of jewelry in this woman’s hand. I visited the Roberta di Camerino store in Florence while honeymooning nearly five years ago. I remember being overwhelmed by the colorful, luxurious bags. I love how this woman paired the bag with a shocking pink blouse and red heels keeping everything in gorgeous jewel tones with just a bit of matchy matchy. Perfect!
You can find some great Roberta di Camerino bags on Ebay right now!
