Farewell Lee
Like most of you, my chest is heavy with grief this week. I apologize for not blogging, this week, but I literally have not been inspired since the tragic news of Alexander McQueen’s death.
Reading The Outsiders in my 8th grade English class this week, we came to Robert Frost’s poem Nothing Gold Can Stay…
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Mr. McQueen, you were gold, and crimson, and tough, and beautiful. A genius. Rest in peace. You shall be missed.

Hey! I saw you had a “guide” to fake bags later in 2008 and wonder if you could help me with mine? I’ve got a bag from my grandma and I don’t think it’s fake, but I want to be more shore. Beautiful. I feel exactly the same way, trying to look at the collections from NY fashion week has actually been a chore. I’m just glad London isn’t until Friday, I’m heading down there and I think it would have been a waste of an opportunity if I had to do sooner. ♥
