This is my official end of the hiatus post. I know there are many blogs that start off strong and then sort of burn out. I have to admit and accept I was just about one of them. Here’s a quick recap of what has been going in my personal life that took energy and time away from Debutante Clothing…

1. Divorce – yup. Nuff said.

2. Death of a 16 year old student

Same day as the divorce. I think this one hit me even harder than the divorce because my student passed away from complications of undiagnosed type 1 Diabetes (which I also have).

3. Bought a home

I seriously needed something to pull me out of the funk. I had been waiting for the housing market to stop being so damn psycho. I took the plunge on a cute little 1954 suburban ranch. More to come.

4. A new relationship

So far so good!

Phew! So much has happened. I hope you will all forgive me for abandoning the blog for a bit. Can we be friends again???
