Saturday night, Kelsi of Dedicated Follower of Fashion and I headed to Silverlake for a lovely dinner with Wendy Brandes. Despite my being a horrible date (I arrived late and had no valet money), Wendy greeted us with her gorgeous Cleopatra earrings in silver. Frankly, we can’t be trusted with the gold and diamond ones. We might take off with a pair never to be heard from again. Actually, I wanted to take off with the silver because they are so amazing. Unless you have been living under a rock, you probably know that these are the earrings that Samantha wore in Sex And The City 2.

We all proudly tucked our hair behind our ears and showed off our earrings, drank margaritas and had a fantastic time. I even got in a little Mr. B time! Wendy is exactly the same in person as she is online – warm, friendly, funny and a total blast to talk to. It felt like we had always known each other, not just virtually. I was bummed she wasn’t going to spend more days in LA, but it’s just one more reason to head to NYC and meet up on her turf!
