A Little Vintage Goes a Long Way

lookingpretty.jpg When I told people I was planning my wedding, many asked if I would be wearing a vintage dress. Originally, I thought I would. I've always thought of vintage as not just a fabulous article of clothing. Garments are very personal, even that $12.99 top from Forever 21. You create memories wearing those articles. I remeber everything I was wearing on the most important days of my life. I even rmember random moments in grade school when I thought I was the cutest dressed six grader at Levi H. Dicky elementary school.

It just didn't seem right to wear someone else's most important outfit on my most important, memorable day. Instead, I opted for vintage pearl drop earrings and a vintage champagne beaded bag. Just a little glitz that served as my something old, and something borrowed. And to whomever owned the beautiful pieces before me, thanks for sharing in one of the best memories I will ever have.
