Vintage Find - Victorian Style Scalloped Button Boots

Before there was Miuccia Prada, there was Queen Victoria. And in Vickie's heyday, boots adorned in scallops and the tiniest, prettiest buttons reigned. I'm not sure that these are actually antique boots - more than likely they are reproduction Victorian revival boots. But aren't they gorgeous?

Patti:

Beautiful- I know of a place that makes THESE beautiful custom made boots for $484. I'm saving up!!!

it's quite annoying that they are so expensive because they are the exact thing i have been looking for to wear during winter!! do you know of anywhere i could get a pair that look the same but cheaper??

Penny,
They are quite expensive aren't they? Pattie, the commenter before you, said she found a website that makes them. I also know of a site called myvintagesole.com, but I don't see anything like these on their site. They make reproduction vintage shoes and they are the only ones that I know of that deal in 19th century.

For the price I'm thinking I'd forget boots altogether and find some louboutins on sale!! I wonder if the original boots sell for that much? I'm sure I've got some around here somewhere!
