Vintage Find - 1960s Black & White Op Art Boots & Dress
Boot shopping is quite a chore for me. I am 5'0" and have short legs. However, it seems I have the muscle mass of a normal sized person because getting any tall boots to zip up above my calves is rare. So when I saw these gorgeous 1960s black and white boots, I sighed in disappointment knowing my poor little stubby legs would never be clocked in two tone leather goodness.

Oh god... why must I have such German calves? Those would NEVER zip up over my calves, but they're so pretty...

better than chicken legs, i don't wear those kinds of boots because i never find ones that fit my calves properly!

I saw those! Vintage Vixen has so many boots up right now... I would have totally bid on these if they were black and white. They are fabulous!

What is it with big calves? I'm also miffed that overall, women's feet are wider!

Hey girls, I only wear vintage boots as I cannot abide by the revolting fake leather Chinese imports tat flood South Africa every winter, and you might be surprised to know that all the ones I've tried, have stretchy panels at the top, to accommodate calves. 1950's women were not waifs and designers actually cared about cut and fit, as I'm sure you know...so check it out next time, look for the stretchy panel!
