Vintage Find - Smoking Hot Vintage Shorts
This weekend, I was admiring my friend Amanda's jumpsuit. Normally an article of clothing meant for a toddler or house painter, her jumpsuit was chic and playful at the same time. It had cuffable legs that fastened with little D rings and cute spaghetti straps. She modestly layered it with a tissue thin tank top underneath. I always covet things I can not wear. Amanda could carry the look with her tall, atheltic build. I, on the other hand, with my short stubby legs, really would look like a toddler. And a chunky one at that.
I was determined to find something that was suitable for a 30-something shorty like myself. And then I came across this adorable Campfire Girls uniform. The shorts are perfect! High waisted, narrow hip and wide legs. And check out the side buttons. I hate shorts, but I can definitely pull these off. And the matching shirt with the little burning logs adds a touch of novelty to the whole outfit.
Who wouldn't want to own a piece of feminist history?

Very cute! I think this would look great with some shiny gold bangles and some little ankle wrap espadrilles!

These are very cute, and the logs/fire looks amazingly like a Campfire Girls logo, which is really interesting!

Those are cute. Love the color. The best part are the shorts, of course.
