Penelope Cruz in Vintage At the Oscars
Penelope Cruz took home an Oscar for her sizzling role in Vicky Christina Barcelona. Cruz really went all out for this special honor in vintage Balmain. Even though it looks a bit like a wedding dress, I appreciate her love of vintage and her dressing up for such an important occasion. She might get slammed for her dress choice, but I fully support exuberant dressing for an event you are proud of. found it again!”
This is isn’t the first time Penelope Cruz reached for vintage. She wore vintage Chanel to the Goya’s – the Spanish Oscars – where she also received an award for Best Supporting Actress. See? Vintage not only makes you look glamorous, it also brings you awards!

I don’t see why more actresses don’t wear vintage! I hate that so many of them show up in the boring-est of designer dresses (Armani! Elie Saab!) when there are so many interesting vintage dresses out there.
