From moderne to modern, this is by far one of my favorite modern and vintage mixes I have done. Inspired by the bold color of the season, I wanted to show off a dress that can do triple duty: casual, dinner and vintage inspired.
I’ve always loved art deco accessories. Finding art deco clothing is a complete challenge though, so I always splurge on beautiful necklaces and earrings. Art deco is associated with geometric shapes and movement – if you notice the shapes in art deco, there are always curves or points to create this sense of movement. And a movement it was – everything from fashion to architecture went from functional to provocative.
