Vintage Find – 1950s Cherry Bomb
After reading the juicy rumor that Janie Bryant, the costume designer of Mad Men, might be designing her own line, the search frenzy for bombshell wiggle dresses ensued. I’m particularly interested in bright, sexy colors with details that will accentuate my assets. And in my world, hips and ass-ets are hot commodities!
This week’s vintage find has everything I am looking for – a seductive V neckline, bold color, and figure flattering petals that hug the hips, giving the illusion of an tiny waist. Joan Holloway, eat your heart out.
