This year, I was was deliberate about my Christmas decor. Only because I had so little of it. We are in the process of finding out if we are going to purchase a 1961 mid century modern home. It’s been a long process. Darn bank owned properties. We didn’t do much decorating for Christmas this year because of the limbo.

Our tree is a 6-year-old outdoor tree. We really wanted another pink flocked tree, but our flocked tree seller guy was nowhere to be found. I think the tree still turned out rather cheerful and retro.

Wrapping paper is one of my favorite purchases during the holidays. I found this super kitschy paper at Marshalls! What I love about buyng paper at Marshalls, which I do every year, is that the quality of paper is far superior to bulk packaged gift wrapping kits. This stuff is STRONG! Originally $7.99 a roll – you know it’s high end stuff. I also bought my vintage fashion inspired Christmas cards at Marshalls.

Little details like ornaments and gift wrapping paper really get me in the Christmas spirit.

I hope you found joyful little holiday details to share with friends and family this season.

Isn’t it great. No name unfortunately. But keep your eye out at Marshalls or TJMaxx this season.
